AGM stands for Absorbed Glass Mat (technology) The Odyssey batteries were all built for a purpose. Generally the smaller models were to suit applications but the PC1700MJT breaks out of that category with realistic amp hours that are compareable to normal size batteries. We always recommend running a trickle charger to applications where GPS Tracking/ Alarm/ Dash Cameras are fitted because as good as AGM Odysseys are they will not like being left flat. Our rule of thumb is generally if you don't drive your car at least 1 time every 2 weeks for 1 hour worth then pop it on the trickle charger for a night and then repeat your count.
